Agents are the hands.
Dark Matter is the head.
One brain that remembers what your org learns. One chief of staff that decides what matters. Any coding agent — Codex, Claude Code, Devin, Cursor, your own — orchestrated to ship it, cited back to the decision that started it.

Agents scaled output.
Nothing scaled judgement.
The hands got cheap and infinite. The head is still one human with forty tabs open, deciding what matters, what ships, and why. Dark Matter is the missing organ that takes that judgement and makes it scale.
Trackers record what already happened. They store tasks; they do not have an opinion. Dark Matter is the opposite of a system of record —
It perceives every signal, remembers every decision, and decides what deserves a human — then dispatches the fleet with that judgement already attached.
- Six agents, six chat windows, zero shared memory.01
- Every PR re-explains the org from scratch.02
- Decisions live in Slack threads nobody can cite.03
- You are the router. You are the bottleneck.04
- One brain. Every event, cited, in a spine that never forgets.01
- Agents inherit context — they never ask what a golden answer is.02
- Every decision is a ratified contract with a rollback.03
- A chief of staff triages. You see three things, not three hundred.04
Not a dashboard. A building you walk through.
Floor, Planner, Studio, Chamber, Observatory, Ledger. A 56px drawer on the left, a 36px rail on the bottom, and the Chief of Staff one keystroke away in every one of them.

Bring any hands.
Keep one head.
Dark Matter is agent-agnostic on purpose. Swap Codex for Claude Code on Tuesday, add your in-house Vulcan on Wednesday — the Brain, the decisions, and the Ledger don't move. Throughput, cost, and value-per-PR are measured per agent so the judgement of which hands to keep is evidence, not vibes.

Three things, in order of weight. The auth migration landed AUG 22#4871 and unblocked two queued features. Codex's review latency dropped 40% after you ratified the autonomy gate CHAMBERF7796145. And Vulcan·02 took over billing v2 from a blocked Devin session FLOOR#4903.
One caution: 4 of the 14 PRs shipped without a golden-answer citation. That's the DM-19 perception gap, not a ranking bug. I've held it for the week unless you want it now.
You never read fleet noise.
Ever again.
The CoS is a slim dock at the bottom of every room and a column on the right when summoned — never a fat panel. It reads everything, holds most of it, and surfaces the handful of things that need a human. Every claim it makes is a link into the Ledger.
- Triage, not a feedTwenty-eight signals become three. The rest are held for the weekly brief.
- Citations or silenceIf the Brain cannot resolve a claim to an event, the CoS says so.
- One keystroke awayCMD+J summons it in any room. Esc puts it back in the dock.
